Yeah I have a '09 Black Pastel male whom has some interesting markers that I am breeding back to his mother, I'm hoping for some nice looking females but something "Special" popping out would be nice too. He's about 800 Grams.

I've fallen in love with the satin line of black pastels but hardly ever see them available. Yours is gorgeous! Good luck!

So that would make black pewters right? It's so frustrating that they are called black pastels, even though they are more like cinnys than pastels Does the satin do anything different to other morphs?

I've got a busy first time male as well. It's kind of stressful to see him locked up every time I want to take him out! He needs to save is stamina for the other ladies!

    Good luck!

Satin refers to the VPI Black Satin line of Black Pastels, like Ian G. line Black Pastels or Liesen line Black Pastels. IMO they are some of the best Black Pastels.

To the OP - Good luck on a bunch of pewters! He's a beauty too!
