Does this rack make sense?
Will be out of 3/4 inch melamine. Tubs will be cb70.
2 pieces 60x35 inches for sides
6 18x35 for shelves and bottom
1 18x60 for back
I kinda threw this together quick

I would make the back piece 19-1/2" wide so it will mate up with both sides...

I can only find 1/2 inch melamine. Would that work or not?

Yes, that would work. I would rather use 1/2" because of the weight, but I can only find 3/4" in my area.

Ok I will go with 1/2 inch. It won't split when I drill screws will it?

Yep, just pre-drill the holes or take it easy. I only split a few holes and moved the screws down the side a bit.

Make sure you predrill and countersink the holes for the screws especially in 1/2". Also make sure to leave extra space for the tubs, up to 1/8" is fine.
