needing to know what you all think!

I have been thinking about moving my 2 ball pythons from my bedroom to my bathroom due to my bedroom being so cold, due to my window which is very drafty.. my bathroom is my personal bathroom (i do not share it) and it has no windows and the ambient temp is prolly at least 75 more up around 80F

.. my snakes tanks cool side is prolly at the lowest around 60-65 but that's only during the coldest part of the night the warm side being up around 70 at that time.. the rest of the time the cool side is at 70 with the warm side siting somewhere between 75-80 at the very highest.. they both act fine no sign of the being sick.. of coarse i don't want them to get sick.(which is why im thinking bout moving them ) and my normal for some reason curls up in the cool side vs the warm side and idk why i moved her water dish and hide around to see if that helped but id didn't lol..

the only thing keeping me from moving them is this... is it sanitary to put my snakes in my bathroom for both me and my snakes.. i wouldn't think it would be a big deal but maybe there is something that idk.. just thought it would be better safe then sorry.. doesn't hurt to ask lol

    thanks for your help!

I don't see where it would be a problem, if you have the room, and are able to keep the temps better, go for it. I would recommend just making sure you keep the bathroom clean, and maybe removing the snakes on days that you do clean the bathroom just to avoid the fumes from the cleaners, and be conciencous about spraying air fresheners and such with them in there...

Yeah if your like me and take showers that almost burn your skin, the humidity might be a little too much, but since it's only for 5-15 minutes, i don't see it being an issue.

I just echo was the previous poster said and try to move them out when you clean the bathroom, or use natural cleaners to make it a little easier on them.

I second whats been said about fumes and such. As long as you remove them while using cleaners, it shouldn't be a problem.

One question though, do they have "under tank heaters" ? Seems like your temps are to cool for BP's. Do they have some belly heat for digestion ?

If not, I would add that to your setup and make sure the temps are stable.

That's pretty cold for your BPs. I don't really like to see my cool side dip below 70, and try to keep it at 75 normally. 75-80 as your hottest temp is basically what the cool side should be. Add some more heat to the tanks, whether UTH or bigger bulbs that can stay on night and day. I heat my snake room to keep my cool side from dropping below 70. If you still have issues getting the temps up I suppose you could move them to the bath room. I just worry about the possible fumes and the humidity. You shouldn't have a lot of fumes in there given you probably don't use hairspray, but cleaning supplies give off fumes even when you aren't using them.

I dont think anyone is saying anything is wrong with them. But 75-80 degrees for your warm side is too cold. You want the warm side around 90 degrees, and on the cool side its ok to have the temps at 75-80.
