good lord...
OK... has this ever happened.
First off I never got bit, never almost bit or in any way went at by my girl bp... had her a year... doing my normal routine of dangling a stunned mouse for her (in a feedin box) she missed the mouse and almost got me, so i pulled it away and she LAUNCHED out of the feeding box and started movin across the floor torward me! ha
she's either possessed or really wants that snake and blames me for her missing it

Re: good lord...
This has never really happened to me and I've had mine for a while as well, but when he misses the mouse the first time he really does get all up tight! (He doesn't come after me though because he stays in his tank during feeding lol)
At least you know she likes to eat!

Re: good lord...
Hi,
Think about it, they hunt by heat and smell.
Your hand (probably hotter and certainly a bigger heat signature than the mouse ) holding a mouse - therefore smelling of mouse.
She sees this excellent looking meal and goes for it only for you to pull it away - naturally she would chase you for it.
The same effect can be achieved at a weightwatchers meeting using chocolate cake.
It was this that made me finally give in and buy feeding tongs - full gown females get feisty with their food after laying.
