Bubbly stool and not eating

My 2+ year old Cal King is usually a ready feeder, but has not eaten in about a month now. This could be due to a number of things, of course - for one, the temp here in South Florida has been fluctuating lately, being almost winter time. The last few days have seen 40s and steady 50s. She's also skipped meals before since I've had her.

What worries me some is the bubbly, clear stool she's now put out a couple of times. I wasn't too concerned the first time, as it wasn't that long after her last meal, but she did it again recently. There's very little of it, and it's mostly clear with white (urates) mixed in. She has plenty of water at all times, since I stay on top of that as well. Is this just her version of urine? Normally, that mostly comes out with the stool, but since she's not eating, there's nothing else?

She's her usual active self, still very easy to handle, no apparent weight loss at all - but I'm going to borrow a scale again (or buy one) to be sure.

As far as eating goes, I'm going to try adult mice next, as the rat pups don't hold her interest much at this time. I even tried live, but this girl has always been on f/t, and she's actually a little scared of the rodents when they start moving on her

At that age it might be trying to cool for the winter. My wild caught Cal's go off feed every November like clock work. I do things alittle different and dont force them to cool. I keep the heat on and they stop feeding and spend equal time on the hot and cool side of the enclosures.

If the clear runny stool concerns you, you might want to increase the heat some and then offer a small rodent in about two weeks...

Thanks for the reply. I put the heat emitter on all day now, for the last few days, so maybe I'm on the right track then. She hasn't defecated in a few days, so we'll see what happens. I'm ready to take her to the vet if need be, though.

It worked I've been keeping the heat on all day (it continues to be cooler than usual down here anyway), and offered a small adult mouse, and she just dragged it into her hide. I'm happy now. Thanks again!
