Re: We all loved Steve Irwin....well do it for him then.

Are some people blind...or are they just blinded with BG OCD? Even Big Gunns can't be everywhere, but it sure looks like SS tries to be.

This is 4. Just in case you were not aware of how bad you are. Maybe you'll listen to Einstein. BG doubts it though.

I'm not going to read through this entire thread, but I just have to say that even though I love watching the croc hunter and Steve Irwin's stuff was tons of fun, he was far from a god and he had positions and opinions that were not mine.

I'm capable of thinking for myself, and just because someone as good as Steve Irwin supports something controversial doesn't mean I agree with it.

Steve disagreed with keeping native australian animals in private collections (not including zoos). He also disagreed with native australian animals being used for food. Ever eaten kangaroo or saltwater croc? Both are delicious and farmed in ways more sustainable and green than any other meat in the world.

Two direct examples of positions I disagree with.

We can disagree and still be friendly or even admire others.
