    My new mexican king

I posted a thread earlier about what kind of snake to buy. So i read some posts and it said I should get a het pied but my mom said since it's my first snake if I don't like I can take it back so she mad me buy one from petco with my own money. I was gonna get a normal ball python that looked exactly like a spider but then I saw a mexican king. I got the mexican king i think its a girl idk i tried to pop it but liquid stuff came out. Here are some photos

    Re: My new mexican king

I was looking for a ball python for our first snake and ended up with a colubrid from the pet store as well. Mine was a cape gopher snake, though. That was many years ago and I still have him, along with four ball pythons now. (I'd have more, but my hubby is particularly stubborn about the whole snake thing. )

Looks like you got a gorgeous animal! I'm sure you'll be thrilled with him for years go come, even when you finally get some ball pythons.

Those mex king snakes always catch my eye at petco too. They are really cool looking. Congratulations on your first snake. I wouldn't worry about popping the snake right now,ya prob don't wanna injure the little one.
