face shed help!

Well I helped her with the stuck shed, since I couldn't find a pillowcase the wife would let me use I filled a bowl of water and let her soak in it for 10 minutes or so (with her squirming a bit) and then helped massage her out of the old skin. It came off fine and she is now very bright and pretty. I'll post some pics in a few days since I also just fed her.

If the shed is stuck on the head for a little more than a week we do the following:
1) Soak in warm water
2) Run a warm washcloth around the head
-They are head shy so be careful;
3) Because they are head shy they tend to pull their heads back out which is when most of the shed comes off.

It usually takes 5-15 minutes of this depending on how stuck it is.

She shed the skin from her head just fine, but after about 30 mins or so she just stopped moving around and trying to get the rest off. I basically just dunked most of her in some lukewarm water (not the head of course) and gave her a bit of a massage to gently remove the stuck shed. She didn't seem to mind or be in any pain (although she didn't seem too happy about the water at first)
