    Expected results but still pretty exciting.

    This clutch was from my big 3500g pied female to my male pied. I am really happy with how these turned out. The pattern on a couple of them almost looks red. I am glad they seem to mostly be low white like their Sire and dam.



    This is one that I am REALLY hoping is a female. The color is pretty crazy.

    congrats...is low white or high white genetic or is it still being played around with?

    Wow! That's a really impressive sight right there. It's not often you see homozygous to homozygous breeding.
    Boys: Pied, enchi het. hypo, cinnamon
    Girls: Mojave, black pewter het. hypo
    Others: SSP, (2)Jungles, (2)gtp, bredli, 88% IJ Jag, SD Anery Retic, hoggie, Boelens, Coastal, SD sunfire retic
    Others with legs: Panther cham, monitor, big giant blonde drunk frat boy of a golden retriever
    On the way: Iran Jaya, Butter het. hypo, spider 50% het clown, (3) possible het clowns, (maybe) blue line chondro

    Yea, my male Lavender was not up to size to breed my pied so I decided to just do pied x pied last season.

    So far as I know, it's still considered a random occurrence, but as with many traits, I imagine it can be selectively bred with some degree of predictability.
