That has to be scary--I wouldn't like something biting me that close to my face. Hands are one thing, but the neck...

worst reptile bite was deff my 8 foot burm. She had a real nasty food response and i had just fed the bps. Not thinking I went into her cage so i could clean it and she tagged me right on my hand. It looked much worse then it really was, but all in all that was the worst bite i ever received. I get bit all the time from bps and after years of it you just get use to it. Luckily i was never tagged by any of my large monitors.

Well, my worst happened about 5 days ago...thankfully, it wasn't anything larger than my 4' ball...I was really STUPID and I went to take out a piece of poo out of his cage after I carried a container of mice into my reptile room. Unbelievably stupid mistake due to my obsessive compusive-ness. he left me bleeding pretty nicely, and I had bruises on the fleshy part of my thumb until yesterday...

I'm a vet tech, and I couldn't draw blood for a few days...it was quite amusing explaining to my bosses why....LOL.

The only bite I have gotten so far was last week when I got tagged by a hatchling BP. Surprised me more then anything, barely drew any blood. It scared my boy friend even more who was watching very intently as I was popping it. He is terrified of snakes, jumped a mile and screamed like a girl at least he knows now that they can't hurt him
