BP acting very strange; possible sexing mistake?
So, for the last month or 2 my 2008 normal BP, who was sold to me as a female, has been acting a lot different.
She is constantly roaming and trying to push open the lid of her bin.
(I have her on a controlled UTH, at a constant 90 degrees and the ambient room temp is generally 80 degrees, but never drops below 75, and her humidity is generally 40-50%.)
She has refused food for almost 2 months now..
She knocks over her water dish every chance she gets. (I have changed substrate 3 times this week....and today after putting in fresh paper, she knocked over the water within 5 mins of putting her back in the bin...)
I have experience with mites, and I have seen no sign of them. (Or with the rest of my collection)
She began doing this directly after her last shed (which was perfect)
Up until now, I have never has an issue. Always shed perfectly, never refused a meal, never left her hide.
Now a friend of mine has suggested that these actions could suggest that "she" may actually be a "he".
Since this BP was accquired from someone who got "her" at a pet store, "she" may have never actually been sexed...who knows.
I have no idea how to "pop" or probe a snake, so I don't want to attempt it.
Any input?
Thanks in advance.

If you have a male ready to breed toss him in. If they battle their males. If the so called female wags the tail then you got a female.

What he said
Get a dog bowl... it is really hard to knock over. Not a fix but it might save some cleaning time...

My female roams right now and she's been probed numerous times to be female. She has always been an active snake, so i don't really thing it's all related to being the wrong gender.

I only have the one BP, so no snake battles for me lol
Has anyone observed this behavior before?
