My BFF is a reptile!
Seriously, my BFF exhibits the heat seeking behavior of an ectotherm, and her preferred temperature is 85-95F with a cool side of 70-75F so I think she is a boa or python.
Me, I like it cold. She says I am a polar bear.
Do you know anyone whose temperature preferences are similar to that of our reptiles? Or anyone who needs UV not to get a tan but just to stay sane?

I'd always considered myself a reptile due to me hating the cold. I prefer mid 70s-lower 80s.

Re: My BFF is a reptile!
It's funny, but I tend to be the exact opposite of a reptile. I love the cold and get overheated quite easily, so I'll be running around outside in a t-shirt in 0 Celsius =p And, I prefer to be out of direct sunlight. Being a redhead has that consequence but I just don't like bright light much! Maybe I'm the nocturnal type...

Well let's see... I think I need some help figuring out what I'd be..
I'm nocturnal
Prefer temps between 74*-79*
I like to sleep completely covered with my blanket up to my face no matter the temperature. I like to feel cozy & safe like in a small den.
I'm very observant and cautious if I feel vulnerable but most of the time I just ignore what goes on around me if it doesn't concern me.
I am rather limber and do like to hike and climb trees and things lol but I haven't done that in years...
Strangely that sounds like an Aye Aye... Oh no! I'm a creepy looking little big eyed lemur primate thing!!
