Female pastel questions

ok my question is I bought 2 female pastels only intending to keep one. So i have fed and taken care of them for a month now and my question is should I trade her for a morph or keep her and let her value rise as she gains weight and gets closer to breeding weight? I have had offers along the lines of male spiders. several offers as thats what i am looking for but not neccessarily a male. i was looking for a female. anyways I would like the Communities oppinion on the possible value of my 2010 pastel female. Dont mean to sound dumb just have been going back and fourth researching the forsale adds online and the significance of it being a female keeps coming full circle. if that makes sense. PLEASE provide some insight thank you very much. brandon

Raise them up and breed them

I've seen many 2010 female pastels for under $200

its up to you, what are you looking to do? build a breeding colony, or concentrate on a project..........the value changes according to what you are tryng to accomplish?sometimes you make a buck, sometimes you loose a few to get what you need?...........I guess what Im trying to say is it is up to YOU

If you plan to breed, keep them both for future breeders.

I would keep them both, morph females are priceless in my collection. Besides you will come out better financially when combined into other combos

alright, My logic is now i can raise her up and get her fat. and i can allways get a male later. my understanding it takes a female 2 years to be breeding size and a male can breed at like 600 grams (point is i can fatten a male up), my understanding could be wrong. appreciate the help might have to sit on it for a little while i guess.

IMO 2 yrs is a MINIMUM but that depends on whole host of other factors, typically the 3rd winter will be your best bet. I would keep both, and have an idea of what you would to get out of them as far as breeding, then as theyre growing I would be saving money aside for a nice higher end male and breed him to both females

i have a quality male pastel as of now and have 2 female pastels and a female normal. i was looking into getting that spider from FREAK to potentially do bees in the future. but i decided that ill just wait it out for a lil while. thanks again i appreciate it, i should think about her as an investment then? if im grasping this thread correctly lol

Female morphs are always a good investment.
