I would offer, sometimes they will eat in shed and sometimes they won't. It's different for every snake. If your humidity was up at 70% then he should shed within the next few days, if not you'll need to assist him.

if there eyes arent covered or blue you should be fine for feeding and if the eyes cleared up the skin usually comes off at the same time or at least wiht mine. and this is your first shed in 2-1/2 months? thats interesting

Re: Shedding PLEASE HELP
Only assist if you see that he hasn't shed off for at least about four or five days. Sometimes they just take longer to shed off themselves, you want to give them enough time to sort it out and save them the stress.
Make sure your humidity is at least around 70% and that the snake has water available to soak if they want to and keep hydrated.
If you want, try to feed in-shed. Either they take it or they don't, it depends on the individual. If they don't take the food, wait until they're done shedding and then offer food again.

The period of time between sheds gets longer as the snake ages though right? I mean, my ~7 yr old is shedding every 3 months. How old is the snake we're talking about here?
