    Lightbulb Feeding Question.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a baby bp i been fighting with feeding and dealing with mites. I think i got all the mites gone but will see in a few days. I have put her in the feeder box a and maybe 2 times she took it. And she ate last week but it was in her enclosure i just put the f/t feeder in there turned the lights off she ate it. Well tonight i tried puttin her in her feeder box put her hide hut in there with her not matter what i tried she wouldnt take it in the feeder box even walking off leaving the f/t in there with her with all the lights off. Well i took my time cleaned her enclosure the carpet the whole 9 yards. Well i got her cage all done and set back up and put her in her enclosure, and put the f/t in there with her. Well after puttin her and the feeder in the enclosure with in 5 mins she was eating it. This is the 2nd week i done this. I dont like feeding in the enclosure at all. But i was wondering could this be just be a security issue where she just will just feed in her enclosure or should i just keep trying to feed her in her feeder box to ?

Why are you feeding her in a feeder box? She is obviously stressing over it, just feed her in her enclosure.

Ive always used a feeder box to try to avoid them thinking food is coming in every time i open the lid. I never had a problem out of all the snakes i had about using a feeder box. But if shes eating in her enclosure thats just what im going to start doing, as long as shes eating is the main thing.

Feed in the enclosure, there's no reason to feed in a separate container.
