Have 2010 Male Spider and Female Bumblebee, what would be a great morph to get next?
I picked up a 2010 male Spider and female Bumblebee this summer. I want to pick up a third to possibly breed approx. 24 months from now. What morph should I go with? I've been looking at male Super Pastels and Lessers to pair up with my Bee. Should I be looking at another female to match up with my Spider? If I wasn't looking at the best combos to go with what I've already got, I would pick up a Clown male. But what could I do with a Clown male as far as a breeding project?
I know, I'm asking a lot of questions, and it all comes down to my own preferences. I guess it’s because I like the Super pastel (especially as they mature), but I'm torn because I've also seen some great looking Lessers.

i myself wouldnt buy a pastel when youll be making your own soon enough. i myself would buy another gene that you dont already have but it could have pastel as well. my choice would be a pastel butter(or lesser) or an enchi combo.

Thanks, I've been looking at the Enchi and the Lesser too (too many choices). The question is, should my next one be a female or a male? Would a male Lesser or Enchi go better with the female Bee, or would a female Lesser or Enchi go better with the male Spider. I'm thinking a Male Lesser or Enchi would go better with the female Bee because of her Pastel and Spider gene, which could blend more Co-dominant traits.

Definitely focus on getting some more females first. I'd look into a couple more double co-dom girls and some really nice quality single co-doms as well.

the spider is not a good morph for you in your collection since you already have a bee. if you get a male that is more than one gene and breed it to your bee, you can produce a few different morphs that you can hold back, and hopefully you hit some good odds on getting females. example, if you pickup a male lesser pastel. breed it to your bee, you could produce:
spiders
bees
killer bees
lessers
lesser pastels
lesser super pastels
lesserbees
pastel lesserbees
super pastel lesserbees
pastels
super pastels
and normals
I don't think I missed any, but all these could be made from just 2 snakes, there are other males that carries more than one gene that can make many morphs, this was just an example. shows a great way of producing many snakes you don't have and holding back to grow your collection or trading for some that fits with what you have.

This is something I hadn't even thought of. Thanks for this!

Re: Have 2010 Male Spider and Female Bumblebee, what would be a great morph to get ne
I'd add a new gene (or two) to the collection, like a desert or fire, but that is because I really like to brighten things up. You won't regret adding any kind of female to the collection, but a male could be more helpful if it was a two gene carrier (like a firefly or tiger) and you picked up a large normal female to go with it. In truth, though, you should look at lots of pictures of morphs and decide what you like or want. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Well it depends on the budget but I would say Pinstripe, Lemon Blast or Kingpin (from the least to the most expensive )
