They always look smaller than the females. As long as the younger males eat and breed try it. If the male stops eating when young you pull him from breeding to get him to eat good again. But most usually still eat great.

I'll give him a try soon then He pounds down food like no tomorrow anyway so feeding him during breeding shouldn't be a problem. If he doesn't breed then theres no harm in waiting

Dont expect him to lock up first time. My 2010 males took about 3 weeks to get in the mood and produce plugs before they locked up.

Would you recommend leaving him in with her for 3 weeks or to leave him in for a couple of days take him out and repeat the process for 3 weeks + ?

Right. And actually, if I had my choice of any male, I might go with a mojave. But if she isn't a BEL gene carrier, she'll do a more dramatic job of lightening up the lesser.

Hmm I do have a mojave as well mate so could put both males with her and have a whos the daddy clutch to make it more exciting. Just out of interest what do you mean by BEL gene carrier ? It's ok it's late and I've had meds so spaced out lol
