Oh wow that is a cool pattern and I hope he makes it!!!
If you get the pinky back far enough he shouldn't be able to spit it out. I had one that spit it out every time I tried till I put the pinky in as far as I could. Also if he thrashes around a lot once you get it in his mouth you can just keep a hold of him. My guy only constricted once or twice, the other times he just swallowed it.
Just remember that not all bps were meant to make it!

Do a fuzzy mouse, Pinkies are way too small even for that guy.

Re: Super reduced mojave???
ive seen such a reduced mojo before. was an add on fauna. but they are definatly not common.
to the feeding issue. i would try to assist feed him too. take a fuzzy mouse and dip her into water. then spread his jaws and put the mouse into his mouth- as far as possible without pumping it down into his stomach. most of the time they get a reflex and start swallowing the prey item. but it must be big enough to give him some resistence. i think a baby mouse would be to small.
if he wont eat for a few more days, take the yolk of an egg and take a pump and pump the yolk in his mouth that he has to swallow it.
or- (i know it sounds hard) take a dead baby mouse and cut it into little little peaces and mix it with the yolk. then cut the top of the plastic pump and again pump this mix into his stomach. but make sure that no hard plastic edges or so are left on the cutting edge at the pump. u can use this sandpaper to make the pump smooth. otherwise u could hurt the mouth of that little devil.
but first try the assist feed. heres a german vdeo where u can see how its made (just in case uve never done it before). i think for u guys there are english subtitles.

I'd bet incubation stress. Especially after hearing that all of the other eggs did not survive. Awsome snake but it is doubtful that it will be genetic. Good luck. Hope he makes it for you.

How close do you need it?!? Not asking for suggestions on my photo skills, need suggestions on the reduced pattern. Is it common?
