    Thick Dorsal Stripe on Bumblebee

Just had this baby come out of the egg today... and he has the thickest, blackest dorsal stripe

I have another bumblebee from the same male who looks like a traditional bumblebee from a different female, with the thinner lines...

Just wondering if anyone has seen something like this. Mom is a normal with some reduced markings in the side patterns, but otherwise looks "normal" - she came from another breeder:

This is a bumblebee from the same male, different female:

he's gorgeous, and i love it, so he's probably going to be a keeper, but I just thought I'd ask to see if any of you have seen something similar before?

can't relate to spiders, but this year I bred lesser to a few normals

all the lessers out of one female, looked like normal lessers

all the lessers out of another female were way more yellow and brighter than any of the other ones

so if your asking if the normal female will have an effect on what the morphs look like, id say yes.
