What kind would you recommend? I thinking about getting one, but don't know where to start looking.
What are you looking at spending? $60 with a 12:1 ratio http://www.reptilebasics.com/412l-thermometer.html $125 with 20:1 ratio http://www.reptilebasics.com/420l-ir-thermometer.html $240 with 50:1 and case http://www.reptilebasics.com/425l-ir-thermometer.html Those ratios how many inches away to how many inches it reads. So for the 12:1 it reads a 1x1 square inch for every 12 inches the temp gun is away from it's target.
