    I have this same problem too. Went with a force feed even. But now, we've had 3 successful assist-feeds on small prey items, so we're looking positive. I just hope he finally figures out how to do it all himself!

    I think it's safe to say you're over the hump. It should get better from here on out...

    second feeding went aweful / unsuccesful, so I put it in a deli cup, when I returned an hr later pup was gone!!! So no more assist feeds woohoo
