I really love my hooks. But I was wondering how others who share the love of hooks feel about Aluminum hooks and protecting them.

I personally like the aircraft grade high polish that is placed on Aircraft and Mountain bikes. Being a mountain biker, I can predict what happens to anodized...once the coating wears, there is not much to do about the cosmetics. You can continually protect for corrosion, but that is what I like about polished. I can maintain it like any of my other tools and keep it looking practically the same.

I use titanium and steel as well (My favorite is a steel one), but I am wonder about those of you who use aluminum? Would you prefer high polish protectant over anodized?
