Your temps are too cool. What kind of heat are you using? How are you checking temps?

You need a hot spot of about 90-95 and a cool side in the mid 80's with the ambient air temps being about 80-84.

    Re: Just a quick question

    Hello, and to BP.net.

-What type of heating are you using?
    -How are you regulating it?
-Where are you taking your temperature readings from?
-What type of thermometer are you using?
-How thick is your layer of substrate?

    Re: Just a quick question

OK. I got the temps converted. The warm side temperature needs to be around 33C-34C, but not more than 35C. The cool side should be around 26C-27C and no cooler than 24C...

    Re: Just a quick question

Where do you have the Habistat probe positioned? Is it near the top of the tank, the bottom of the tank, or somewhere in the middle?

Are your thermometers digital or are they the stick-on dial type?

I forgot to ask what type of heat bulb are you using? Is it red, blue, or white? Also is it a UV bulb?
