    New Anery het Is Here

My replacement Anery het. Albino Boa came in today =), this time without a heat pack and very much alive, whew. He's a little on the scared side, but I didn't get hissed at, I was a little surprised.

He's warming up and checking out his new digs but I snapped a few quick photos of the little guy before he wandered off to a hide..

I love how his eyes just glow

I didn't snap any shots of his awesome little black tail, I'll have to get some when he settles in, it is awesome looking, nice pattern going on.

Haha thanks. Apparently its in the 40s at night in Minnesota (where he was shipped from) so thats what she used as judgment. Either way this little guy got here just fine.

He was a little scared/unsure of everything when I first got him but I let him settle in his tank for about an hour then got him out, he was a little aggressive, didn't hiss or anything just S'ing up, but he got a tap on the snout and it snapped him out of it and he's been great since. I really love his personality, he's quirky haha.

Can't wait til he grows up, he's sooo itty bitty right now.

Alex I just have to say that after looking at all the pics you have posted I realized that you have some amazing enclosures setup for all your snakes, they all look top notch and very homey!

By the way that is a great lookin Boa Constrictor!

Thanks! What can I say, they're my kids, I have to spoil them.

They seem to love it all too, this little boa won't leave his branch, I think he's in love with it, I'm sure he's in a minor state of shock going from a little tub to a nice tank with all sorts of cool stuff to climb on haha. And then with the tanks even if the snakes are hiding all the fake plants happen to look pretty cool too, so it works out for everyone.

Nice looking little guy. I like the way his head stripe merges all the way into the first saddle...
