I think you should raise that one up and breed him to another morph and see what you get

I am getting into ball pythons soon and this is something I am interested in. I really like the belly of the "Black Belly" and id love to see it on some other morphs

I've not seen Ian's line of black bellies to do a comparison, so I can't say whether that one is or not (nor can I say if mine is or not).
I guess the only way to find out is to breed them.

I hatch 15 this year from 2 females and the same male. Mostly all of them have the black belly. The male also has this trait. Only my 3rd season breeding, but I've owned ball pythons for 20 year and don't recall any with this belly pattern. I do know that other people have them, so are they normal or something more???

Thats interesting, think its genetic? Or could it be just a fluke?

I personally believe its genetic. Its no coincidence that you hatched out 15 and most have the black belly trait.

Sounds genetic to me, but I am no expert on BPs or thier morphs or whatever lol!
