Currently i have my girl in a glass aquarium but am thinking down the road ill switch to a tub. Is the setup the same as u would setup for a glass aquarium? Heat pad placement, humidity holes etc...

Basically, yes. I've heard of people who just keep their tubs at around 85 and don't use a basking spot or heat pad, but others keep the heat gradient by either using a conveniently sized heat pad or some heat tape on the bottom of the tub (make sure that the tub is raised a bit so the heaters don't overheat), and drill holes in the sides and lid to allow air exchange and humidity. Two hides if you use a heater (one hide for each side) and a water bowl, thermometers, hygrometer, t-stat.

Always provide a heat gradient. All reptiles must have one - that includes turtles, snakes, etc. Because they are reptiles, they cannot produce heat on their own to compensate for an environment that is not the proper temperature to perform natural functions like digesting food, etc. A 10-degree gradient is ideal.

Yes, you set up a tub just like a glass tank. You don't have to have hides if you are using the opaque tubs. The tub itself will act as the hide. Although, it doesn't hurt to have hides in there either.

I only put ventilation holes on the side of my tubs. I find that it is easier to maintain humidity when there are no holes on the top.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Blood pythons can be kept at a constant 82 degrees and be fine with no hot spot, but just thought i would add the one exception for every rule

I know that, I'm just saying that I've heard of people who do that. I never said that it was good.
