Overactive?

The temps in my enclosure are pretty well established, 80 cool/ambient and 93-94 hot with 50-55% humidity, yet my snake is all over the place, one side to the other and always going up and down the walls, he just seems to be overactive (from what I have heard) for a BP. Any thoughts?

what are u measuring ur temps with?
how are u controlling ur temps?
how old is ur snake?
what type/size enclosure is it in?
do u have any hides, how many how big?
whats ur feeding schedule like and what do u feed?
have u recently put it into the new enclosure?
what time of day is it when u notice this behavior?

could be any number of things.

I have two hides, one on each side, just small enough for a snug fit, but big enough that he does not have trouble squeezing in. I have a red bulb and UTH on dimmers but I am using acurite thermometers to measure temps. I feed a soft fur Rat pup/fuzzy every five days, he is kept in a 50 qt rubbermaid container (semi-clear with a brown lid) He mostly does from dusk until morning, he was still out when I woke up at 7. He was born in May so he is about 3.5 months old, and He has been in the present enclosure for two weeks.

Yea I've been meaning to do that, I haven't had a whole lot of time, plus I was letting him settle him and get acquainted. Pics soon though, be on the look out. Possibly tomorrow night, maybe tonight if I'm lucky.

My ball python does the same thing at night, it could just be that he's young and curious. If you have a glass tank, perhaps putting a background or covering up the sides he sees out of will work? I tried with my ball python, but he's persistent. If I leave any crack in the tank where he can see, he'll try to explore it so I've just given up and assumed it's because he's a young ball python whom's not quite used to his environment. Especially if he's basically been in a rack system where he's never really been able to see past the container he's in.

I have a similar problem, I've had my oldest bp for seven years, he has been in the same enclosure for four years. After his latest shed he has gone in a no eat mode, and he is overactive and driving me crazy, he has not fed in several months. Any thoughts?
