    Can I get plans for a 6 x 2 x 2 enclosure?

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some plants and a list of materials/things needed for a 6 x 2 x 2 enclosure

I have searched everywhere but I cant find any

Melamine is preffered, but MDF is good too (do I have to stain MDF?)

Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!

    Well the shell would be 2x 72inx23.25in, 2x 22.5inx23.25in, and 1x 70.5inx22.5in or 2x 72inx23.25in, 2x 22.5inx22.5in, and 1x 72inx22.5in, then do w/e you want for a door. im assuming your using 3/4 thick wood.

you have to waterproof mdf if you use it someway or another. melamine you just have to seal the corners.

you can take any cage design and make it bigger or smaller to fit your cage dementions

    Thanks!

Yeah im very bad with plans, I found some for a 4 x 2 x 2 but I couldnt figure out how to change the dimensions so they would be 6 x 2 x 2

Like for example these were the plans:

    2 sheets of 2ft by 4ft 3/4 inch melamine*
2 sheets of 1 ft by 4ft 3/4 inch melamine*
2 sheets of 1 ft by 2 ft 3/4 inch melamine shelvin

For the door I have no clue what im going to do.. Can I just get a 6 x 2 x 2 peice of plexiglass and put a track down?

    Thanks!

those plans don't make a 4x2x2, they make a 4x2x1 and doesn't make a door, it makes a box, doesn;t take into account the thickness of the wood, don't use those plans.

but when you find a good set of plans, if its a 4x2x2, you just have to add 24 inches to every measurement for the length. if thye call for a 23.25inx46.5in, you make it 23.25inx70.5in. its pretty simple.

as far as a door, the plexi has to be small enough to fit in the opening of the wood. if its a true 2ftx6ft cage, the thickness of the wood makes the opening 22.5inx70.5in, then the track will take up a little more room. just gotta keep in mind what your doing to make sure it fits

    Its pretty easy.

You just have to build a box.

Put some sliding glass doors on it.

Make sure everything is all water proofed.

Install heat tape or a radiant heat panel.
