Yup - that happened to me my first season. Two lemon pastel clutches. One clutch was six eggs - two lemons and four normals. The other clutch was four eggs - all normals.

Took two years, but the odds gods finally swung my way (last year was also a bad odds year for me).

first and only clutch 5 eggs.. four normals, one pinstripe and the pinstripe died. Sorry for your odds, be happy they are all healthy. It could have been worse.. they could have been all duds!!

Re: Horrible luck! 11 eggs from 2 parents and only one morph each clutch

Yeah, that sucks. But its part of the game. I was actually looking back on this, and I've had good years where I had incredible odds, others where I didn't. What I noticed is that if I averaged it out over several years, pretty much all of the odds lined up with what they were supposed to be.

Just be thankful that you got a healthy clutch, and that nothing went wrong with your females, and they'll be around another year to breed. There's always next year and in this hobby you have to take the good with bad. Good luck with them!
