Just get your enclosure up and running before you get the snake. They're awesome to have and I'd recommend one to anyone. Make sure you have thoroughly read and understand the caresheet. Make sure you have a UTH, thermostat, digital thermometer, water dish, hide, etc, etc. Once you have everything up and running they're extremely low maintenance. They're really awesome pets if you like a pet that hides constantly and isn't really a display animal.

Make sure your BP's enclosure is set up and ready to go before you get it. Trust me, this will save you lots of worrying and stress. Same for the snake.

Definately get everything you need and get it set up and get the temps and humidity dead on before getting the snake! Here is a caresheet so you know what you need: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules/...warticle&id=59

Get your setup up and running first bud def get one, they are wonderful animals and do not require much. BPs are very docile creatures and like to just hang out.

    Re: Possible new addition

Is this some sort of weekly expo? Be sure to ask lots of questions about these "cheap" ball pythons. Are they fresh imports? Have they ever had their first meal? Are you experienced enough to deal with a baby that's never eaten before and refuses when you get it home?

What might seem like a deal may actually be a heart breaker if you don't ask these questions.
