Unhappy Update on the scale problem

i had posted a thread in here a little while ago about the thin clear layer of scales flaking off my normal male adult ball python. and we had established that it could have been the turf because of me possibly using bleach and water mixture and not getting it dried out all the way. soo i switched them all to paper towels which is a great substrate by the way =). anyway i had rubbed polysporin on his belly, cause i saw it was pink and looked irritated and continued doing it every so often. now almost all the clear layer on top of the scales on his belly are gone and it is kind of pinkish but has seemed to start looking better it doesnt seem to bother him but...now what...will they just eventually grow back will it shed its way back to normal...is it the polysporin that is also making them come off too cause i heard that is normal for polysporin to shed the clear part of the scales off...just let me know what u think

It sounds like hes ready to shed. The belly turns a pinkish shade when in shed. Also the eyes start to cloud up.
