    Help Me Buy a Rack!

I'm buying my first rack. YAYY! Anyways, I want to buy one that comes with everything (tubs, heating). I would like maybe 5 levels, possibly 3 adult tubs, two juvies and some hatchlings on top. I would like to not spend $100 on shipping as well. Help me please!

Oh yeah, and this rack will be for balls.

Agree! Animal plastics are a great deal for what you get. TheSerpentChamber on youtube has some great videos of his AP racks. I just ordered one from Boaphile and it is about the same price range. The only reason I went with Boaphile is because they only take about 2-3 weeks to get it made and sent to you. Animal Plastics take about twice the time but the price is a little bit cheaper.

I currently own 9 Reptile Basics racks and couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend them and will be purchasing more in the future.

    RBI pros:
    -Durable investment quality racks
    -Comes already assembled
-Good prices (shipping included in the price)
    -Very quick turnaround time
-Rich's customer service is 2nd to none.

Agreed, Rich is a stand-up fellow! I don't have any of his racks, but he's a great guy to do business with.

    Cheers,

Re: Help Me Buy a Rack!

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I'm gonna go with the reptile basics. It has the best turn around time, lets you choose what type of heat, and it comes with the tubs. Animal plastics seemed good too but it doesn't come with the tubs and I can't find the tubs anywhere around and I don't want to order them. Also, I like how the reptile basics is dark all around where the Animal Plastics one has gaps on the sides. (not sure if I explained that right) Will these work for adult balls? http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-sw...back-heat.html

Should I buy the dividers so my current snake is in a 16 quart tub? He's about a year old, two feet. I feel like 16 quart would be too small for him because right now he's in a 20 long and moves around a lot...

These are the same racks I use except for my females over 2000 grams. I have some males that are 500-600 grams still in 16 quarts because when I try to move them up they stop feeding, I put them back in the 16 and they eat. The 32q's are fine for most adult males but most females will require 41'qs as they get large enough to upgrade. You will also need a thermostat for these racks.

I keep all my big breeder females in http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-cb-70-rack.html and they seem pretty happy in those.
