Mheetu - My Sand Boa eats happily for me!

Just picked Mheetu up July 31st and yesterday was feeding day, I gave it a little wiggle and it struck once then let go, so I did it again and bam, got a nice strike and down it went. Not much of a topic I know...but I am happy
I feed outside the enclosure since I am using sand, my wife was happy to see a snake eating a mouse in her baking dish, haha.

Thought I would toss in a new pic of Mheetu's enclosure too.

Forgot to paste the video link, pretty quick for such a little animal, lol. Next time Im going to record the strike at 240fps, I love watching snake strikes in slow motion, haha.

hey tonyaltn, i dont want to sound annoying, but its probably not a good idea keeping KSBs on/in fine sand like the one in your enclosure. in nature they dont live in sand like that, and rather live in debris under foliage in the desert. so eventually it will lead to mheetu having respiratory/pulminary infections due to the dust particles in the sand, and could to lead to death if untreated
