Re: The Truth about the Elephant paintings.
I personally don't care if they were taught...as long as it doesn't mean the elephant getting hurt in anyway.
ITS AN ELEPHANT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!
I mean if the thing was born able to paint like that I would be kind of freaked out to be honest lol. Still amazing!! What I found to be interesting is how accurate they are, and how they can paint over the same thing without missing the first line. Too cool!

Re: The Truth about the Elephant paintings.
It shouldn't be too surprising--we know that they're self-aware, and very highly intelligent (their brains are larger than ours, and just as convoluted).
We knew they were something different and special from the very first time we saw how they treat their dead.

Perhaps if they could see better, they could paint still lifes without a coach...we may never know.
Well lets get them to an optometrist and get them some glasses. Bing bang elephants painting like Michelangelo.

If they did paint it, they're a lot smarter than most forum posters. If they didn't really paint it...whoever made the video is pretty darn good. So what the heck is the real story here because BG isn't sure what point you're trying to make about this second dumb video. It looks to have nothing at all to do with the first. Not the same setting or anything....just the guy with a long gray sleeve over his arm that looks nothing like an Elephant trunk. Maybe this comedy is waaay over BG's head, but BG highly doubts that.
The second video is neither funny nor good in Big Gunns expert comedic opinion.
Yeah I agree...
Isn't the second video just a spoof on the first video...It in no way has any kind of correlation to the first besides making fun. (?)

Correct.
I guess some people can't just have a laugh.

BG loves to "laugh"...he just didn't find it all that funny. Sorry dude. It actually kinda confused BG is was so dumb and corny(like BG sometimes). BG just didn't see the correlation to the first video other than a very poor example of imitating an Elephant.
