Re: Is my BP getting fat?

I don't think she can get fat at her age on weekly feedings. In the first year, they eat alot because they are growing alot and need the energy! Young bps will grow about 100 grams a month! Only weigh after a poop when she is empty to get an accurate reading! You are doing great! Keep up the great work!

Ok, I'll put some up in a little bit. She just looks kinda awkward in my opinion because her neck is so skinny for about 4 or 5 inches and then it just gets huge (comparatively speaking- probably 3 times the width). That may just be how BPs are... I wouldnt know. She's my first one. I try to make her to a snake's version of crunches whenever I hold her lol. I firmly grasp my hand around her so she has to work to get through. I can feel her muscles squeezing very hard so maybe I'm workin off some of that fat and turnin it into muscle If it's anything like a human that is

Ya she grew about 100 grams in the first month I had her. Thats almost gaining 100% of her initial weight (when I got her) in a single month! I guess that makes sense tho. She was a month old when I got her and she was double her size at 2 months. So it's not that crazy. Anyways, Thank you! I'm tryin!

Thank you everybody who is helping me out! It's making me feel more at ease. I'll post some pics soon
