Smile What should I be feeding my little guy?

ok here's the deal. My BP is 78 grams. Last night he had his first meal from me a "hopper" the mouse was 13 grams. He killed and ate it no prob and from the ease and speed in which he ate the mouse im thinking should I be feeding this guy bigger meals. I don't want him to be even the slightest bit under fed. Any way I have a spare tank which I'm using to house the mice at this point I have 2 sets one group of 4 that are around 30 grams and the other set of 3 which are around the 13 gram mark. Should I be feeding my guy the 30 gram mice? Btw the size difference is hardly noticable. Thanks in advance guys!!!!!

I'd stick with that size for a couple of weeks. The rule is normally the food should weigh 10-15% of the snakes weight. Stay with that until he gets a little more weight to him.

a 30 gram item for 70+ gram animal is over feeding. I think anything more than 25% is a bit too much. I would try to switch to small rat crawlers as soon as possible. Small crawlers weigh the same as a hopper mouse but are better. Plus rats grow bigger so will be better when your snake gets larger.

I would keep him on the mouse hoppers or rat fuzzies in the 10-15 gram range until he hits at least 100-110 grams...
