Somewhat oddly marked Dumeril boa. Photos!! :)

Links instead of actual photos as the filesize is kindof huge, apologies.

Recently at an expo I picked up a Dumeril that, as far as I can tell, has some unusually reduced patterning. Most of the Dums I've seen are more like this: http://www.hiss-n-things.com/SnakesW...umeril2003.jpg (google is my friend) and my little fellow, a male I named Julien, has a lot less patterning along his back. Indeed the darker marks rarely cross his spine!

Not sure 100% yet if it's genetic, but I sure plan to find out. His breeder claims all his Dums look like this. Anyone else have one that's marked like my little boy?

Very interesting. I bred Dums for years, never saw that type of pattern. But, I doubt that it's genetic.

    Enjoy!
