    Pastel Calico variance..must see!

Ok i know there are quite a few of these out there now but this is my first year hatching this combo. These 2 are from my first breeding of calico x pastel and the only 2 survivors from a 7 egg clutch. Before these 2 had there first shed i thought i had 0.1 pastel calico and 0.1 pastel. After there first shed and first meal i noticed the "pastel" was actually a low/mid white pastel calico and the other an "extreme" high white pastel calico..hard to believe they are siblings! The adult male calico sire is a very dark low white FF line calico..so goes to show you that those low white calicos pack one hell of a punch!

    Thanks for looking!

How did you get pastels from a Calico x Normal Breeding?

He did not make any pastels from that breeding. He was just showing how low white his calico was and used a picture of it breeding a normal. But then again Chad has been known to make some crazy stuff from normals

yes the clutch was from calico x pastel..but the only pic i could find of the male was him breeding a normal. sorry for the confusion. Yes Joe the "normals" have done quite well this year haha.
