    A memorable first impression...

WARNING: Don't read while eating if you have a sensitive stomach.

Just a funny story and wanted to share it.

Had someone come over last night to look at some 2010 hatchlings, as he promised one to his son for his birthday in a couple of weeks.

After looking at them for a while, he narrowed his choices down to two. He asked to see them each again. I got the first one out and it was very relaxed and comfortable with him. He says, "I think I want this one."

Not but a couple of seconds later, he looks down at his leg and I see a couple gooey chunks of urate that have dripped on him from the snake. One of my kids run over to grab a couple of paper towels for him...but before they get back to him...it all goes horribly wrong.

This snake is about 1.5 months old, its not terribly big...around 135g or so. At least it was, until it apparently decided to release around 1/3 of its body weight of liquefied poop. The poor guy was on the other side of the table from me and didn't know what to do...it seemed like it went on forever.

He handed the snake back to me, wiped off his leg with the paper towels. I tossed a towel over the mess on the floor for the moment and he looked at me kind of unsure how to react.

After a few seconds I jokingly told him, "It must like you, its apparently very comfortable around you."

He laughed and said, "I think I want the other one."

Just one of those horrifying terrible hilarious moments that I felt obliged to share.

Lol. That's funny. I would have totally taken that one. At least he's relaxed

Yeah, I'd have taken it too, lol. Why, I'm not sure. Just seems right. Hopefully it's not just how he says he likes you.

ahh ha ha, that's happened to me twice before. It's amazing--the poops they have in their tubs are nice and firm but when they've let loose on me it's this loose gross liquid stuff. major ew.
