Moving from warm to cold weather

I am going to be moving from Texas to Michigan very soon. I have had Jade, my BP, in a 20g critter cage insulated with cork for the last year; however, when I bring her to Michigan I will be getting her in a whole new set up and was leaning towards tubs for the added insulation I'm gonna need during the winter. The apartment complex is cool with Jade as long as she can't get out so I was wondering if there are any really secure tubs where I wouldn't have to worry about her lifting three piled up books to get out? She is about 900 grams and probably around the 3 ft mark.

    Thanks!

Just build a shelf with 1/8th an inch gap between the uoptn top of the tup and the shelf. Alternatively look for a single tub CB70.

I've had my snakes in a rack for over a year and they've not even gotten close to getting out.

Oh, and since my rack has them sitting in so only one of the small sides show, and since the heat tape is in the back, it keeps the temperature pretty nice.

I use those latch-box tubs from Sterilite. I have never had an escapee (Knock on wood). But if you'd like some added security you could use bungee cords, books, etc.

I know I know it's tragic! We'll see what happens when the winter comes around. Yea Jade is doing great and I'll try my best to get some pictures up when we get settled in the new home. It was great meeting you too. I hope the Houston summer is treating you well!

I've also used locking sterilite tubs for over two years, the only escapes that have happened is when I didn't latch the lid properly.
All of my larger females are in 40qt sterilite ultra underbed boxes sitting on flexwatt heat tape on melamine shelves.
