the heat and a UTH and possible burn

I noticed a day or 2 ago that my one of my BPs bellys is a little pink, i naturally assumed shed, and hes blue now so he is in fact shedding. However usually the pink goes away by the time the eyes are blue and hes looking pinker. I have a thermostat set to 89 degrees so it shouldnt be too warm. I noticed today when i took him out that his substrate was moved around and bit and he was on the glass which worries me. Right now hes on the cold side wrapped around his waterdish which ive never seen him do before.

Is this something to worry about or is it just the shed coming. Also since its been in the mid to high 90 here and its looking to stay that way for at least the next week should i lower the temp on the UTH a little or should that stay constant regardless of the ambient temp.

    thanks

you should have the probe of the theromstat glued to the glass itself. That way if they get down to the glass it is the temp that is at 89. She could just be having a harder shed than usual...doesn't sound bad. Just make sure that since it is hot out that she does have a cool side in the low 80's.
