    Thermoregulating observation

Both of my snake are in tubs with one hide. I always put the hide directly over the heat mat when I clean or handle them. I've noticed that both snakes will move their hide to thermoregulate. Louise keeps hers half on half off and Zeus will turn his hide all the way around so he can't see the rest of the room and will move it so he's just barely on the heat. They'll move it after they eat and at night when I put my fan on.

    Such amazing critters they are!

They do some interesting things. My Dumerils pushes substrate up in front of the entrance to his hide so that it is blocked off...
