Make sure the temps aren't high enough to burn your snakes belly.
I bought Accu-rites to check his temperatures, and I have extra paper towels over his heating pads. I'll be getting a thermostat soon.

I would never breed "for the money" sure turning a profit would be nice, but it isn't a driving force.

What house?? I am only 20!

My main reason for not getting into recessives is that I simply get confused with the more complex combinations. I don't want to hatch out a bunch of animals and have no idea what they are

I could afford a few of the recessives but I dunno, there is something about triple doms and co-doms that is appealing.

Re: What d oyou plan on getting for the decade?

I usually just take it year by year. This year, I've pretty much gotten everything I wanted except a Piebald female, and a Bumblebee female.

But in the future, I'd really love to produce Pastel Piebalds, Pewter Piebalds, and Axanthic Pewters. So I suppose I need to get me some Axanthics.

I'm hopefully getting mine from the Columbus reptile show.

Re: What do you plan on getting for the decade?

Since I'll be getting started with ball pythons this decade, I do have a few plans, none of them grand.

Start with one or two BP's, a bee if I can find the perfect one, for the first year or so.
Build my collection slowly through college, if housing and my budget allow for it.
Start with breeding co-dom and dom morphs before jumping into recessives.

The morphs I would like to keep at one point or another are:
Spider morhs (Bees, killerbees, queen bees)
    Pin morphs (blasts, emperor pins)
    Pastave/super pastave
    SPOG, SPLOG
    Axanthics (Pastel axanthic, Axanthic bees)
Clowns (candied clowns, king clowns, killer clowns)

Other morphs I wouldn't mind dabbling in are ultramels, bananas, deserts and calico.

I'm breeding for the money, and I've never been happier. I'm doing what I truly enjoy, and I'm making a living at it. I love the snakes.

(Note that there is a vast difference between breeding for the money, and breeding ONLY for the money).
