    Hi,

I look at it the same way I look at steak etc - by the star rating fo the freezer.

Generally 6 months or under should be fine but it depends on how they are wrapped etc as well to prevent freezer burn.

The rats will stay frozen as long as the freezer is working properly.
Air is the enemy of anything frozen. If you can vacuum pack them, they will last for some time. I think you will get 4-6 weeks from your rodents, if you're just throwing them into a zip lock bag and tossing them into the freezer. But all freezers are different and no one can tell you exacly how long they will last.

Maybe you could sell some of the rats if you have too many!

    Re: frozen rats.

well i took almost all the air i possibly could out of the ziplocks i put them in, but they are heavy duty ziplocks(really thick). i just put about 45 in the freezer in the matter of a few days. labeled/dated. if 6 months is the amount of time they last im good. thanks guys!
