Re: should i wait to feed?

I would at least offer a meal. Some of my BPs eat during shed and 1 tends not to. Worst case, he doesn't eat and you lose a mouse that probably only cost around a dollar. As for your mouse, as long as it was frozen the whole time you had it until you thawed it out, it should be fine. They should be soft. I personally go to the pet store and get fresh frozen rats every week, but a lot of people buy in bulk and keep them frozen for a while. Not sure how long is too long, but I wouldn't feed my BPs anything that was severely freezer burned.

If he doesn't eat, I would wait 3-5 days after he sheds and offer again.

well its up to you. Each person tries once to see if their snakes will eat in shed. If they do then you will know better than all of us if to offer or not.

I have maybe 10 out of 56 that will eat during shed. So its up to you if you want to offer or not.
