NERD's location
So I know every one here seems to talk rather highly about NERD. I live about a hour and a half from where they are located, and am interested in going to check their place out. I know some people I work with got a boa from them, and the stories they told be about the place makes it seem awesome! So who has been to their location? Who want's to go? Who wish's they could, but live's to far away? Sorry, I'm just curious.
If this is in the wrong section, I apologize, and feel free to move it if need be.

I've been - what you really want to do is make an appointment to get a tour of the snake facility. I don't know if they still do that, but it's worth the wait if they do.

I live within 10 miles of the shop.
Tours saturday and sunday at 4pm ( call to double check )
$8 admission
I've been a couple times, you'll see some amazing rare and one of a kind creatures. Worth a look.
What town are you from?

Kara happens to be one of my dear friends. I've had the pleasure of Kevin and Kara hosting me in their home (which is attached to the facility) on 2 different occasions - both times, for a full week.
It was an amazing experience getting to work with their collection and being allowed access throughout their home, the breeding facility and the shop.
Well worth a visit.

Re: NERD's location
i just called last week to inquire about visit and the tours are correctly stated above.... id hate to make the 2 hour drive and not be able to tour so i had to be sure.
The real question, does anyone know if there are any cheap hotels in the area? Id rather stay near by and not have to drive back the same day but all i could find online was like 120 a night and i dont really have that.

I live in York County. Sorry, I'm not always to keen on throwing out my exact town on the internet. Heh...
@Shining: I honestly don't know of any hotels down there that are cheep myself. I just drive though on my way to CT. ^^;; I'm sure someone who lives in New Hampshire, and closer to the town will be able to help you out better then I did. Sorry.

If I lived near I would go. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the country! The closest I get is reading the book Kevin wrote!
