    Snakes Vs. Vampires

Snakes have a lot in common with vampires. They are pretty much the animal equivilent, and I think that is awesome. From what I understand of vampire lore, the history and Western ideas of vampirism isn't influenced by snakes in any way, however there are obvious striking similarities. Anyone else ever make a distinction between snakes and vampires? If so, cool. If not, cool.

Bats definitely..... Really anything that feeds on blood - mosquitoes, leeches, etc.

    Re: Snakes Vs. Vampires

I've never associated snakes with vampires. They don't suck blood, and nothing about them reminds me of the undead. A lot of parasites remind me of vampires, though!

    Re: Snakes Vs. Vampires

Yeah, I wouldn't consider snakes to be anything like vampires, unless you say they're both nocturnal(unless they're sparkley, then they're losers).

Otherwise, snakes don't suck blood, they eat meat(whole), like most carnivores. They kill by crushing, not by draining the victim of blood. They prefer to sit and wait, not swoop down on a victim.

Shrug. Just me, I don't associate snakes with vampires.

    Hahahahaha!

Snakes & Vampires...hmmm, no wings, no funny accent, they dont suck blood, and they dont wear capes. Although there is the nocturnal thing, the fangs, and the strength, but Im not sure thats enough to be anywhere near a Vampire.

I would put Vampire Bats at the top of the list and Leaches, and Wood Ticks at the bottom of the list...but no Snakes.
