How do you know if your BPs are hungry?

what are the signs to look for?

should i just follow the feed every 5 days schedule or should i feed it when its hungry?

I just got my BP last Friday.. he used to be just chillin inside his hide all day. but now, he keeps roaming around the enclosure specially at night, and he seems to be actively looking for a way out of the enclosure. and when he sleeps, he now puts his head outside his hide.. are these signs of hunger? he isn't striking or anything.. but he looks at me trying to tell me, "hey dude, i'm hungry.." look then keeps on putting out his tongue trying to smell everything i guess. xD

Generally for the first week or two, they will spend a lot of time roaming around testing the limits of their enclosure. Once they are settled in, cruising at night is generally the "I'm hungry" signal.

Just feed it every 5-7 days. Don't worry about when it is hungry. Eventually he will fall into the schedule and act hungry on feeding day.

My male ghost is an easy one to figure out. If he is sitting on his log hide during the day I know he is hungry. All of the others I just feed once a week. The ghost will eat everytime he is out. Sometimes more than once a week. I like him and his personality. He has me trained well i guess.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.

maybe that's the same reason my snake is always out too ... maybe he's hungry.. he is on day 4 of not eating..
