Question about the Albino gene
Hi, I don't know if this question has been ask before, but here we go. Where do this albino genes come from? I mean, there is the Albino, Lavander Albino, Caramel Albino, Ultramel, Coral Glow and Banana(I don't know if they are part of the albino ale too), ect. They are just the result of spontaneous breed or there are some interbreed related? I do know that the Albino is a T- and the Caramel is a T+ but what about the others?

Re: Question about the Albino gene
Idk about most of those, but the albino is a simple recessive gene that resulted from a random mutation in the wild, just like happens in humans.
When I'm not sure on a morph I usually google or check the morph list at worldofballpythons.com.
After looking, they're all separate morphs, most recessive, the coral glow is dominant, and the banana is codom. Finding out what happens when you put them together is a whole 'nother search.
As mentioned here, since they're all recessive, you'd get nothing but hets the first generation, but breeding the hets would give you fairly low odds on...something?

Re: Question about the Albino gene
ah, thanks for the site. It is much better that the ones I already google it. I also found out as you state that they are all different ale that originate in Africa. They are just like the Leopard Geckos that they are different kinds of Albinos like the Bell Albinos, Trempers Albinos and Rainwaters Albinos.
