New first time owner

Hello, just got my first ever snake last night a ball python from the pet store. He is great, sad i cant play with him yet, i was told at the pet store to give him a few days to get use to his new home. They told me the first time he ate was 2 days ago. Not sure what that means, I'm pretty sure he has eaten before that. I payed 40 dollars for the snake it was 50% of this week. I feel as if I got riped off on the enclosure though. Just wanted to say hey and you might see me poking around the forums every now and then.

I think the setup you have should be ok for now, I have seen those kits before but it has been a while so idk if there is anything missing that you will need, as far as price on everything you did pretty well. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any or as they come to you and welcome to the forums.

Thanks for all the welcomes, glad to know i got a good price on everything. I plan on get a uth and another hide. On the good note he ate a pinkie for the first time today, He didnt have much trouble at all. one prob im having is keeping the humidity up how man times a day should i be spaying the tank? Any good links to some site to buy new equipment? Thanks again everyone
